Welcome to my blog, my name is George. Last year, several big occasions occurred at the same time. My wife and I celebrated or 40th wedding anniversary, our daughter got married and it was my mother's 90th birthday. I wanted each of these events to be a special day which captured something about the people involved and allowed everyone to come together to celebrate the happy occasion. I didn't have a clue how I would organise the days, so I contacted an event company. The event team talked through my vision for each day and suggested locations, seating plans, menus, transport and entertainment. They made it so easy and I learnt a great deal about event planning. I decided to start this blog to pass on my knowledge to the rest of the world.
